The Grasshopper has a 1964 Corvair opposed 6 cylinder engine hooked up to a VW transmission.  The transmission's H pattern has been transferred to a 1 down 3 up through a Harley trans tower.  Has a Harley front end, hand made swing arm frame, chain drive with a tractor rear wheel setup and GM brakes.

It is low and well balanced.  It is like a mini Roadog, but very much ride able with the only monster being the clutch lever engagement.

Bill called the bike "Grasshopper" because it was the name of the rear tire, Goodyear Grasshopper. -Anthony Shablak
